Abstract: In the era of dramatically increased teleconferencing and remote work, video conferencing and chat tools are more important than ever. However, not all platforms are created equal, especially when it comes to accessibility. Join Keith Wessel and Dena Strong for analysis of several popular tools such as Zoom, Slack, Skype for Business, Teams, and others. Keith will demonstrate how users of assistive technology experience these interfaces, and we will discuss the University of Illinois's accessibility assessments and comparisons of these platforms.
